March 12, 2023

Qikserve have asked business owners to pay any invoices to them to an alternative bank following the collapse of tech bank SVB. Speaking to Qikserve’s Financial Controller, Sarunas Bernatavicius, this moring we have been reassured this does not affect any transactions or payments by members of the public to us but it does affect their current account.

The alert from Qikserve is as follows, please can all members check their emails:

What happened?

As you may be aware, financial regulators have closed Silicon Valley Bank and taken control of its deposits.

What’s next?
It is urgent that you do not remit any payments to our account with SVB today or in the future.
Payments sent to SVB from today forward may not be credited to your account. For any payments from now on, please use our Virgin Money bank details (attached). If you may have any payments scheduled to be made in the coming days, please, do attempt to cancel those with your bank.

Should you normally be invoiced and paying in EUR or USD, we will provide you with currency account details in the coming days, until then you may choose to hold payments or pay into GBP account details provided.

If you are paying using GoCardless, there is no action to be taken as these payments are already safely directed to our new bank account.
