Monday the 26th of April at 10-11am
A chip fork in the road
The fish and chip industry has changed dramatically in the last 12 months. It’s fair to say that it’s not historically the most digitally-forward of sectors; until recently, few had a strong digital presence, and a number still operated as cash only.
All that has changed, and it’s been amazing to see the speed at which restaurants and their customers have embraced digital ordering, payment and delivery, adapting to the strange times we’ve found ourselves in.
Now though, we are reaching a fork in the road. The end of the pandemic is in sight and restaurants can choose to return to their pre-COVID-19 state or continue down the path of digitisation. The past is comfortable, but what would the result of a return to manual ordering be?
Nick Hucker, CRO of QikServe/Preoday is here to build a picture of the future. He will
- talk about the changing expectations of your customers
- provide anonymised data showing what can be achieved when a business fully embraces digital ordering
- explain where digital technology for fish and chip shops can and will go from here
- help you plan where to take your business through the second half of 2021 and beyond
At the end of the discussion, we will hold an open session for discussion on the platform, answering all your burning questions.
