NFFF President to attend panel session at Labour Party Conference Fringe event
Andrew Crook - NFFF President
September 3, 2022

I have been asked to take part in a panel session at the Labour Party Conference on Monday the 26th of September. Other panel members already confirmed are Bill Esterson MP – Shadow Minister for Business and Industry and Kate Nichols – CEO of UK Hospitality.

It is important we engage with all political parties to best represent the industry and explain not only the pressures we are facing currently but the vital role we play in the communities we serve. Our inclusion in this event shows the great relationship we have with the wider hospitality sector and the reach we have by working together.

Hospitality is a huge part of the economy and small to medium enterprises make up a large part of the sector. Without a long term plan to ensure independent businesses are financially viable we are going to see many of the owners of these business leave hospitality. We need to ensure that not only is hopsitality rewarding for employees but also those who provide the jobs too.
