The NFFF Training Academy,Leeds,West Yorkshire are pleased to announce that they will be holding a 1-day course on Monday 12th June  – 8.30am – 4pm ‘Level 1 – Best Practice – Preparation & Frying Course’

The course will be delivered by our head of training – David Miller. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the Fish & Chip industry, having won many awards and being the National Fish & Chip Take Away of The Year Winner in 2018. You  are sure to learn many new skills and go away from the day’s events with many hints and tips that you will be able to implement in your own business to enable you to make and save money on key products that you use on a daily basis.

The day will consist of David demonstrating best practice skills to prepare, potatoes, fish & batter.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout and make batter to enable you to then move into the frying room where David will demonstrate oil management skills and give hints and tips on what to look out for when assessing the quality of your oil.

Following an overview of how to operate the range functions and facilities, David will then fry a portion of Fish & Chips and also give you the opportunity to fry your perfect portion.

This will then follow with an overview of the day and the opportunity to ask David questions relating to the day’s event and discuss further training requirements.

The cost of the 1-day course is £300.00 plus vat with discounts available for multiple people from the same business.
