JJ Foodservice has become an associate member of LACA The School People to continue its drive to supply more school and local authority caterers.
As the UK’s largest provider of school catering, the LACA network of more than 3000 caterers delivers three million lunches served every day in 27,000 schools.

Following contracts wins earlier this year with Bolton, Barnsley, Leeds, and Bradford Councils, worth more than £3 million pounds, JJ’s became one of YPO’s largest foodservice framework suppliers.
YPO offers a specialist procurement service that enables public sector customers such as schools and local authorities to benefit from cost and efficiency savings through bulk buying.
Category Manager for YPO, Jo Webster, said that JJ was helping to support some of their member catering services to deliver a nutritional, good quality, value menu while being socially responsible.

In some instances, JJ’s has helped our members to find a one-stop shop, which means less vehicles on the road, less food miles and less carbon footprint – we have large customers who have had long term contracts with JJ and feedback from them has been good”.
