In support of the upcoming National Fish and Chip Awards, Ceres will be hosting a free media training day for all shops shortlisted in the Top 40 Fish & Chip Takeaway category as well as all other category shortlists.
The event will take place on Monday 23rd October and is designed to help operators develop confidence when dealing with the media, ensuring the right messages get out and PR opportunities are maximised.
The training program will be delivered in a sequence of 30-minute sessions. These sessions will cover essential subjects such as approaching the media, selecting the most suitable media platforms, photography and what makes a compelling story.
“We are really grateful for Ceres for putting on this media training day for those fortunate enough to be shortlisted for a National Fish & Chip Award. We hope it encourages more shops to enter this year’s awards, knowing that they will be well-equipped to deal with the many PR opportunities that come their way.”– Andrew Crook, President of the NFFF
“The media opportunities that are available to shops, whether they are shortlisted for an award or go on to win, can be priceless. By offering free media training, we are giving shop owners the tools to maximise those opportunities, to become effective spokespersons for their businesses and, ultimately, have the confidence to put themselves forward for other awards and opportunities.” – Stelios Theocharous, Managing Director at Ceres
